The Valuation Process:
The method for placing value on boat docks follows the same guidelines as all other structures. Field inspection, measurements, type of construction and current sales are taken into consideration.
The Wagoner County Assessor's office will mail a rendition (printout) every December indicating the value placed on the Boat Dock and confirming that you are the current owner. We request that you update the information if there is a new owner or changes in the physical characteristics of the boat dock. The rendition form should be returned to our office before March 15th of each year.
To change the taxpayer's name on the Boat Dock please provide a copy of the Bill of Sale to the Assessor's office. It is the responsibility of the SELLER to provide the information needed to make the change.
